I have heard people talking about there are no toy store in downtown. There was a couple a few years ago but they have been closed. We went to the Bloomingdales (900 N. Michigan) last weekend and found a baby store on the fifth floor, it was not very big, but have quite a few things, especially have lots of strollers. It is called Galt. Also, we have a website that you could come to visit and find some strollers through Amazon:
Let me know if you find the price is reasonable.

This site for strollers is great. Many brands and styles are offered. Very comprehensive list and competitive pricing.

The Target on Roosevelt Road has a large toy section. They also stock strollers, car seats, diapers and so forth. If you need little, cheap toys, there is a dollar store on Jackson and Plymouth Court that always has a selection of those.

We were actually there just yesterday, Kristine (my wife and author of the original post) has been insisting for a few days that our daughter has not gotten any new toys lately. Somehow I doubt it just based on the flotsam and jetsam I must wade through to cross the living room, but I was game and jogged down there with the jogging stroller yesterday while she biked alongside. We bought a couple balls, a bubble blower, a couple DVD’s for Daddy, and we looked at some tricycles and dolls. She doesn’t seem to be very interested in the tricycle or dolls yet.
