I made from minor updates on the New Eastside Discussion board including adding a logo at the top and I removed some sections including “Key Stats” and the News block which I thought were distracting and not adding much to the look of the site. Hopefully it is a little less “busy” for new visitors. I have also added a Recent Posts block at the bottom. Click here to register and join in the action.

I also made a post on this board asking for suggestions from the experts.. what do you think? I know there are lots of different themes but it would be nice to simply modify an existing one and insert some graphics for the neighborhood in various appropriate places.

The next thing will be to update this blog with some custom graphics and make it look a little more like the rest of the site :-) .
